About assist
About assist limits
We have adopted a 24km assist limit based on the Road Traffic Act.
・Up to 10km/h, the ratio of rowing force to assist force is ``maximum 1:2''
・When the speed exceeds 10 km/h, the assist force is limited to prevent excessive speed. ・When the speed exceeds 24 km/h, the assist force is zero.
The above values are the standard values in Japan, and the power is reduced if you row too quickly.
If you row slowly when going up the hill, you will be able to exert more power.
Additionally, lifting restrictions is prohibited by law. We are not responsible for any malfunctions or troubles caused by editing or changes. Please note that this is not covered by the warranty.
About assist level
In addition to the assist functions listed below, it has 35 stages of shifting including 7 gears.
0...No assist 1-2...Eco mode (recommended for flat roads)
3...Normal mode 4-5...Power mode (recommended for steep slopes)
If assist doesn't work
If the assist does not work, try the following.
1. Please turn the power off and on while the vehicle is stopped and pedal again.
2. The battery may have no or low power when shipped. Please charge it before use.
3. The wiring plug may have come loose. Please check the rear wheel motor section and front wheel wiring section. When inserting the missing plug, align the arrows with the arrows and the wires will be connected correctly. Please also check.
4. The motor unit may be overloaded. Please drive with a light load, such as by setting the assist level to 1. It will return to normal after a while.

About suspension
Front suspension stiffness adjustment
MOVE uses a coil suspension, so the force of the spring itself cannot be adjusted. A RELOAD (preload) is installed on the left side of the front suspension to finely adjust the stiffness. Although it is possible to slightly (finely adjust) the hardness and softness, it may cause damage. At the time of shipment, the settings are set to match the MOVE body, so please use them as they are.
Rear suspension stiffness adjustment
The stiffness of the rear suspension cannot be adjusted. It is adjusted at the time of shipment.
About the saddle and tail lights

MOVE XS is 80cm to 100cm
The length of the seat post can be adjusted up to.
About lighting the tail lights
If you remove the battery cover at the bottom of the saddle, you will find an insulation sheet.
If you unplug it, the power will turn on and the light will turn on with the switch.
About smart meters
can not turn on
1. The battery may have no or low power when shipped. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please charge it before use.

About waterproofing
Although the smart meter is waterproof, damage caused by water exposure is not covered by the warranty. Also, the battery cannot be exposed to water.
About tires
About air pressure
Please adjust the tire pressure according to your preference.
We recommend starting at 1.5 bar and riding without replenishing air until you get the right stiffness, then adjust to your desired stiffness.

About the handle
About adjusting the handle
The handlebar is height adjustable. By adjusting the steering wheel to suit your physique and height, you can ride in a comfortable manner. Please adjust it to your desired angle.
About the play between the steering wheel and tires
By tightening the two screws, play in the handle will be eliminated.
Regarding looseness of the handle
Tighten by fixing one side with a hexagonal nut and turning the other side with a utility tool.
About the battery
About battery specifications
It is a lithium ion battery.
How to make your battery last longer
1. Avoid using or charging at high temperatures.Lithium-ion batteries are sensitive to high temperatures. If you park your bicycle in direct sunlight for a long time or charge it in a hot place, the battery will become hot and deteriorate. During the summer, we recommend that you remove the battery from your bicycle and store it indoors.
2. When storing, avoid leaving the battery in an empty state.If a lithium-ion battery is completely empty (completely discharged), it will become over-discharged, where it will try to force the battery to discharge further. Lithium ions are susceptible to overdischarge and are said to cause battery deterioration. If you use it every day, you will not leave it with a low battery, but if you are not going to use it for a while, we recommend storing it with about 50% battery remaining and charging it once every three months. .
About the remaining battery power
You can check the remaining battery power in 5 levels instead of numbers.
About rainy days
We recommend that you refrain from using the service on rainy days, snowfall, heavy rain, or storms.
Although smart meters and other devices are waterproof, damage caused by water exposure is not covered by the warranty.
[Caution] Regarding handling of batteries
Lithium-ion batteries are said to be sensitive to high temperatures or cold temperatures. Please store batteries indoors.
[About high temperatures] The maximum allowable ambient temperature for lithium-ion batteries is specified as 45°C. If you leave your bicycle in direct sunlight, it can reach dangerous temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius. In addition, a rise in battery temperature not only shortens the life of the battery, but also causes deterioration of the insulation of the electronic circuitry and internal wiring of the battery, which may lead to problems such as smoke, ignition, and deformation of the battery due to abnormal heat generation.
[Regarding low temperatures] The colder the temperature, the lower the capacity of lithium-ion batteries. Also, the internal resistance increases and the output/operating voltage decreases. Charging at low temperatures may cause lithium metal electrodeposition and rapid deterioration.

The frame material is made of aluminum alloy. We use materials that are rust resistant. Also, please note that gear parts, chain parts, screw parts, etc. are more prone to rust than the frame.
